About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Compensation &

Advantages Manager to plan, supervise and participate in the work of the payroll department, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all wages and salaries. Reporting to the Director – HR and leading a payroll team, you'll play a key role in ensuring compliance with wage and salary legislation, building strong stakeholder relationships, and driving on-going system development and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and update the job evaluation process across all positions, determining proper market value using industry benchmarking data (e.g. Mercer)

- Advise managers on correct salary ranges for new hires, transfers and promotions

- Process wages and salaries accurately and on time in line with EBAs, Awards, and employment contracts

- Manage terminations, pay rate changes, tax, superannuation and other statutory withholdings, with reconciliation against the general ledger

- Support salary review and bonus cycles, ensuring accurate outcomes in SuccessFactors (SF)

- Maintain data quality and consistency between SAP and ADP





- Keep payroll systems updated with current Award and EBA rates

- Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records

- Lead, coach and develop the payroll team, driving continuous improvement in operations and turnaround times

About You:

- Experience supervising a payroll team

- High accuracy working with figures and financial data

- Working knowledge of accounting/payroll systems

- Experience operating payroll in ADP and SAP highly regarded

- Skilled in working in unionised workforce

- Exposure to EBA employee
