ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a Conference Centre Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of CA ANZ's Sydney Conference Centre. In this hands-on role, you'll help deliver professional events and functions, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and welcoming experience. The role supports both internal and external users of the Conference Centre and plays an important part in maintaining CA ANZ's reputation for exceptional service.
Reporting to the Manager - Member Engagement & Operations, you'll work closely with a range of stakeholders, coordinating room set-ups, catering, AV requirements and on-the-day event support. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a customer-focused workplace and takes pride in delivering high-quality experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate Conference Centre functions, events and room set-ups to meet stakeholder requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service and act as a key contact for event attendees and clients
- Manage catering, stock levels, room presentation and event logistics
- Support the set-up, operation and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment
- Maintain safe and compliant practices relating to food handling, workplace safety and responsible service of alcohol
- Identify opportunities to improve services, processes and customer experiences
ABOUT YOU You are a proactive and customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced events or hospitality environment. You take pride in creating positive experiences,
building relationships and ensuring every detail is taken care of.
- Experience in a hospitality, functions or events coordination role
- Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
- Confidence using and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and food safety knowledge preferred
