Role Description The Construction Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Perth, WA, responsible for overseeing residential renovation projects from planning through completion. This role includes coordinating trades and subcontractors, supervising site activities, and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.

The Construction

Manager will manage project budgets and timelines, monitor progress, and address issues as they arise. Daily responsibilities include reviewing plans, conducting site inspections, communicating with clients and internal teams, and maintaining compliance with construction and safety regulations.



The position also involves contributing to continuous improvement of processes and supporting a collaborative, respectful work environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, contractor coordination, and performance oversight.
- Candidates should possess budgeting and project control skills, such as cost estimation, scheduling, and resource planning.
- Candidates should possess construction and construction safety skills, including knowledge of building methods, materials, codes, and safe work practices.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, designers, and trades.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, building, or a related field, and demonstrated experience in residential renovations are beneficial.
- Robust problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency with construction management tools or software are advantageous.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to work on-site across Perth and surrounding areas is a must.
