What You'll Be Doing





- On-Site Project Management: Oversee residential building sites from base slab to handover, ensuring projects run smoothly, safely, and on schedule.
- Build Scheduling: Coordinate daily timelines, organise deliveries, and manage trade contractors efficiently to prevent site delays.
- Strict Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all workmanship meets G.J. Gardner’s high standards and SA building regulations.
- Subcontractor & Supplier Relations: Build and maintain solid working relationships with local trades, contractors, and material suppliers across the Adelaide Hills.
- Client Communication: Keep home buyers updated, informed, and reassured at key construction milestones throughout their build journey.

What You'll Bring

- Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Carpentry or a relevant building trade background.
- Licences Required: Valid SA Building Work Supervisor Registration (or eligibility to obtain) and a valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Construction Literacy: Strong understanding of residential construction plans, timber framing, site safety (WHS), and SA building codes/standards.
- Leadership & Communication: Down-to-earth, effective communication skills with the confidence to direct trade contractors, solve site issues proactively, and liaise comfortably with clients.
- Organisation & Tech Savvy: Solid time-management skills with the ability to use modern digital scheduling platforms and project management tools.
