We’re looking for a Content Director & Announcer to join two of regional Victoria’s most established radio brands, GOLD Central Victoria and River 1467.

Based in Bendigo, this unique role combines content leadership across both stations with hosting the Afternoon shift on GOLD Central Victoria.

GOLD Central Victoria is a proud local station, connecting communities across Bendigo and Central Victoria with the music and conversations listeners love. River 1467 has been part of the fabric of the Sunraysia community for generations, delivering local content and feel-good entertainment to listeners across Mildura and surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with talented local teams, create great content and help deliver engaging audience experiences across two heritage regional brands.

About the role:

- Lead the execution of the content strategy across GOLD Central Victoria and River 1467
- Host the Afternoon shift on GOLD Central Victoria, creating engaging and entertaining content that connects with listeners




- Plan and produce great local content that reflects the communities we serve and delivers great audience experiences
- Oversee day-to-day programming, operations and content quality across both stations
- Work closely with content, promotions, sales and digital teams to bring ideas and campaigns to life
- Lead, develop and coach on-air content team members
- Travel regularly to Mildura to support the River 1467 team and maintain a strong local presence

About you:

- Proven experience leading content teams within a radio, media or entertainment environment
- Robust understanding of great local content and audience engagement
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop creative talent
- Commercial on-air experience with the ability to engage and connect with listeners
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to work effectively across teams
- Advanced knowledge of Zetta and G-selector
- Current Driver Licence and willingness to travel regularly between Bendigo and Mildura
