Role Description The Contract Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW, responsible for overseeing a portfolio of cleaning service contracts from initiation through renewal. This position manages contract performance, ensures service delivery aligns with agreed standards, and maintains robust relationships with clients and internal operations teams. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing contract terms, monitoring service quality, coordinating with site supervisors, handling client queries, and preparing performance reports.
The Contract
Manager will also support tenders and pricing, identify opportunities for improvement or expansion of services, and collaborate with health, safety,
and environmental specialists to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience in contract management, facilities management, or commercial cleaning services, including overseeing service agreements and performance KPIs.
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, negotiate effectively, and resolve issues promptly.
- Proficiency in using business software and reporting tools to monitor contract performance, analyze data, and prepare concise documentation.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards relevant to commercial cleaning or property services.
- Solid organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines and service commitments.
- Ability to work on-site across client locations in Sydney, collaborate with operations teams, and provide practical guidance to frontline staff.
- Prior experience in the cleaning, property, or facilities sector is highly regarded; tertiary qualifications in business, management, or a related field are an advantage.
