About the role
You will work in a small team, directly with the Project Manager, administering the trade contracts and the project administration behind them. On a project this size you see every trade package from tender through to handover — not one slice of it. The project is run in Procore and you will be in it every day.
Key responsibilities
- Run the trade tender process in Procore — tender packages out, addenda issued, register maintained, responses chased, closing dates held
- Prepare tender comparisons and written subcontractor recommendations for the Project Manager
- Draft subcontracts and purchase orders (Procore Commitments) for review
- Assess subcontractor progress claims and prepare payment recommendations
- Maintain the variation, RFI and correspondence registers, and diarise contractual and Security of Payment dates
- Verify subcontractor insurances, licences and SWMS before any trade starts on site, and track expiries
- Maintain the Daily Log, drawing register and document control in Procore
- Prepare monthly cost report data and reconcile commitments
- Compile handover documentation progressively — warranties, O&M; manuals, as-builts and certificates
About you
- A degree or ongoing studies in Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying,
Building or Civil Engineering, or other construction experience is preferred
- A working understanding of drawings, specifications, RFIs, variations and progress claims
- Intermediate Excel and strong written English — you will draft correspondence that goes out under our name
- Accuracy, organisation, and the confidence to chase people for outstanding items
- A White Card before you start on site — we will arrange and fund it if you do not have one
- The right to work in Australia
- Experience with Procore is preferred, exposure to AS 4000 or AS 4902 and transport/driver's license is beneficial

Benefits
- Training and direct mentoring from an experienced Project Manager — no prior contract administration experience required, but preferred
- Working closely with the Project Manager and site team
- Genuine part time hours on fixed days, agreed in advance and kept to
- Breadth you will not get at a large builder: the whole project, not one package
