About the role

Market St. Kitchen, located in the heart of Mudgee, NSW, is seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. We are known for our modern Australian menu and strong focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in line with Market St. Kitchen's standards
- Assist in menu planning, including accommodating dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options
- Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and presented to a high standard
- Maintain a clean and protected kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Support and contribute to continuous improvement of menu offerings

About you





- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a physically demanding role
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong commitment to food quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction
