Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation of dishes, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support the overall operations of the kitchen. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their culinary skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes and utensils.
- Support the head chef and kitchen team with various tasks as required.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Passion for cooking and a desire to learn and improve culinary skills.
Pay: $26.44 – $30.00 per hour
