Job Description

Ciena is seeking a Resident Engineer to provide in office and remote technical support for a strategic Melbourne customer. You will help ensure reliability of Ciena optical transport and network management solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and publish RCA reports and MOPs.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in EE/CS and 2–5 years' telecom tech experience, with hands-on knowledge of OTN, DWDM, and Waveserver platforms. Melbourne-based, on-site role with global collaboration.
