The role The Tshirt Mill is a custom apparel printing business based in Newstead, working with corporate clients, sports teams, event organisers and everyday customers across Australia. We're looking for someone who's genuinely great with people, on the phone and face-to-face, to be the first point of contact for our customers. You'll spend most of your day on the phone and in the showroom: taking calls, talking customers through their options, and making sure everyone who walks through our door feels looked after.

There's also some time on the production floor helping with packing, dispatch and quality checks on bulk orders.

If you're a confident communicator who enjoys talking to people and solving problems on the spot, we'd love to hear from you. Full training is provided, so prior experience with our systems isn't essential.

Day to day

- Answering a busy phone line with a friendly, professional manner

- Talking customers through products, pricing and order options over the phone

- Greeting and assisting customers who visit the showroom in person

- Handling face-to-face enquiries and helping customers make decisions on the spot

- Managing the customer service inbox and responding to email enquiries

- Processing orders and providing accurate product and order information

- Preparing quotes and following up with customers by phone and email





- Occasionally helping with packing, dispatch and quality checks on bulk print jobs

Who we're after

- A confident, friendly phone manner, comfortable on a busy line

- Genuinely enjoys talking to people and helping them face to face

- Able to read a customer's needs and offer the right solution

- Robust verbal and written communication skills

- Organised, detail-focused and able to juggle a few things at once

- Computer literate, with a willingness to learn our order systems
- A proactive, hands-on attitude, happy to help wherever needed
- A team player who follows through on what they say they'll do

Previous experience in reception, customer service, retail or order administration is an advantage. Experience in printing or apparel is a bonus but not required.
