About You

We are looking for a Data QA star in the software community, someone who is passionate about elevating the software testing profession and ideally brings experience from a qualified services/consulting background.

You will be engaging with project teams and collaborating with a range of stakeholders, making recommendations, providing guidance and sharing knowledge around testing best practices.

Along with excellent understanding of current and emerging software testing industry thinking, methodologies, standards, frameworks and processes, you’ll have experience in delivering complex testing solutions to a wide range of clients.

Please note: This is a 6 month initial contract with possible extensions The experience, skills and attributes we are looking for include but are not limited to:

- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of data warehousing and testing methodologies to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Strong and demonstrable complex SQL query writing skills




- Must have experience and skills in Databricks testing
- ETL testing
- Any Python scripting skills and experience is highly advantageous but not essential
- Ability to validate data transformations, ETL processes, and data loading procedures.
- Experienced and skilled in end-to-end functional testing
- Experienced in Agile projects
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills including the ability to influence others and work collaboratively to make decisions
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management capability.

Qualifications & desirables:

- Computer Science / Information Technology related university degree
- Ideally you will already possess ISTQB Foundations Certificate or higher (not essential)

Please note: Candidates must have current working rights in Australia and be currently based in Brisbane or able to relocate to Brisbane within 5 – 10 days of contract signing to start this engagement.
