We are seeking a skilled, hard-working Caravan & Vehicle Detailer with extensive, hands-on experience in paint preparation and ceramic coating application.
This role is currently mobile-based (equipment and setup provided/discussed upon hire) and will be transitioning into our dedicated workshop in February. We are strictly looking for an experienced specialist who can operate independently on-site now, hit the ground running, and deliver high-end, flawless finishes on both large caravans and traditional vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing multi-stage paint correction, compounding, and polishing to eliminate defects in mobile/field conditions and workshop environments.
- Full surface preparation prior to coating (decontamination, clay bar, iron removal, surface wipes).
- Applying professional-grade ceramic coatings to caravans, RVs, cars, and 4WDs with precision.
- Managing mobile setups, client site setups, and maintaining equipment quality.
- Inspecting finished work under specialized lighting to ensure zero high spots or missed areas.
Requirements (Strict)
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated,
hands-on background in multi-stage paint correction and ceramic coating application.
- Caravan Detailing Knowledge: Familiarity with the unique gelcoats, fiberglass, panels, and scale of caravans/RVs.
- Meticulous Preparation: Deep understanding of surface prep steps necessary for long-lasting ceramic bonds.
- Workplace Flexibility: Valid driver's license and comfort working mobile in office now, moving into our workshop in February.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work efficiently and independently without constant supervision.
