We are seeking a Despatch Clerk to join us at our office in Kunda Park. Your main responsibility will be delivering excellent customer service, taking details of orders and liaising with the warehouse team.
The applicant must be a team player who:
- Communicates well and work closely with sales and production staff
- has a pro-active approach to work
- is physically capable to undertake manually intensive procedures
- has the ability to deliver on multiple tasks under pressure
- is computer literate (MYOB software system)
- has a forklift license
Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Customer service
- computer processing of customer orders
- working with daily manifests and processing of paperwork
- liaising with freight companies and couriers
- dispatch of product
- forklift operating
- Sound OH&S; awareness
Qualifications are not necessary, but a willingness to "learn on the job" is essential. We invite motivated trainees to apply for this position as a stepping stone in the manufacturing industry. Immediate start for successful applicant.
