Diesel Fitter/Truck Mechanic

We are a family run business looking for a reliable, hardworking Diesel Fitter/Truck Mechanic to join our growing Sunshine Coast team. You will be responsible for servicing machinery for our clients in South East Queensland, including scheduled maintenance and breakdowns in both a workshop and field workplace. This role will suit someone who can work self sufficiently and prides themselves on their workmanship.

We are looking for a Diesel Fitter /TruckMechanic who wants to further their career experience into the Diesel Hydraulic Sector, whilst maintaining Diesel Fleet equipment.

4 Day work week to right applicant with over time oppurtinities after 3 month probation

Duties

- Service & break down repairs
- Conduct fault finding repairing and/ or replacing components as required
- Maintenance on plant & equipment
- Compliance with all safety & current regulations /standards




- Heavy Diesel Truck Repairs
- Earthmoving Machinery Repairs
- Complete major 10 yearly inspections/re-builds to a range of Mobile Cranes, Elevated Work Platforms, Vehicle Loading Cranes.
- Boilermaking Experience an advantage

Required

- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience working with diesel machinery of any type
- Diesel Fitter/Mechanic Trade Qualified (Upskill trade certificate avaible for right applicant)
- The ability to work unsupervised
- Current drivers licence
- MR/HR licence can be obtained during the 3-month probation period
- Diesel Mechanic Truck Experience desirable
- Earth Moving experience desirable but not necessary
- Crane Experience desirable but not necessary
