Role: DevOps / Platform Consultant (HashiCorp Vault)

Job Summary:

- We are seeking an experienced Developer Platform/Product to own the overall vision, strategy, and roadmap for HashiCorp Vault within our organization.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the enterprise vault operating model, identifying business and security use cases, and establishing priorities based on business risks and operational benefits.

- This role requires a solid understanding of HashiCorp Vault and its applications across various environments.

Responsibilities:

- Own the overall HashiCorp Vault product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

- Define the enterprise vault operating model, capabilities, and service catalogue.

- Identify business and security use cases for vault across applications, infrastructure, cloud, and network environments.

- Establish priorities based on business risks, security requirements, operational benefits, and business demands.

- Develop and maintain a multi year vault adoption and maturity roadmap.

- Act as the primary product/capability owner and subject matter expert for vault related initiatives.

- Manage relationships with HashiCorp Vault and relevant technology partners.

- Oversee product licensing, consumption, and commercial optimization.





- Track vault enterprise feature requirements against the organizations current license.

- Lead vendor roadmap discussions, product evaluations, and technical workshops.

- Identify opportunities to optimize platform costs.

- Engage with senior stakeholders across cybersecurity and other areas.

- Define and report product KPIs, adoption metrics, risk reduction, and operational benefits.

Mandatory Skills:

- Proven experience with HashiCorp Vault.

- Demonstrated experience working as a Consultant/ product owner/ service owner/ or technical product manager.

- Strong understanding of enterprise security and operational frameworks.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with cloud environments and infrastructure management.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to data security.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 10 years of relevant experience in product management or technical roles.

- Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, ITIL) are a plus.
