About the role The Digital Marketing Officer is responsible for delivering key brand and supporter lifecycle projects as part of our digital engagement strategy and plays an important role in driving SCHF’s online presence, acquiring new and potential supporters and achieving business objectives in the digital environment.
The Digital Marketing Officer implements digital marketing strategies that support brand activity and lead generation. This includes but is not limited to delivering paid marketing strategies, supporting blog and website development, developing and implementing a/b testing strategies across paid activity, supporting e-mail communication builds and evaluating and reporting on digital channel performance.
Job Responsibilities:
Delivers paid marketing strategies to drive brand awareness
- Implement paid marketing strategies to drive brand awareness among target audiences
- Continuously optimise brand ad campaigns to drive results and ensure maximum ROI
- Report on campaign performance and make recommendations for future paid marketing activity
- Manage and implement SCHF’s influencer program as a core digital marketing channel
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business objectives and make recommendations to align them with the website and digital engagement strategies.
- Stay up to date with latest trends and developments in paid digital marketing and identify opportunities to test in our own environment
Implement acquisition and lead generation initiatives that support team goals.
- Work with the Digital Strategy Team to identify and pilot new acquisition opportunities or campaign ideas to scale supporter growth
- Implement lead generation initiatives across teams to support SCHF’s objectives.
- Build and optimise audience targeting and segmentation strategies, including lookalike and retargeting approaches
- Work with teams to implement strategies to nurture new leads and improve conversion into active supporters
Plan, implement and analyse
- Work with stakeholders to determine high-value A/B tests that will inform future campaign activity
- Conduct A/B testing across creative, messaging, channels and user journeys to continuously improve performance
- Optimise campaigns based on A/B testing results
- Develop reports and share insights across the organisation
Digital Content & Supporter Communications
- Create and publish website and blog content to support campaigns, SEO and audience engagement.
- Build and optimise landing pages to enhance user experience and conversion rates.
- Ensure digital content is mobile-first, accessible and aligned with brand standards.
- Develop, build and deploy email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Test and quality assure email campaigns to ensure accuracy, personalisation and deliverability.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Execute A/B testing to optimise email content, subject lines, audience segmentation and send times.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in relevant field and/or 2-3 years equivalent relevant work experience.
- Tertiary qualifications are required.
Essential
- Microsoft suite
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and to collaborate across teams to achieve enhanced outcomes.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Desirable
- Proficiency in GA4 desirable
- CRM/Salesforce desirable
- Proficiency with website CMS (Funraisin preferred)
- Proficiency with marketing automation software (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred)
- Strong stakeholder/relationship management skills

We are pleased to offer a full-time salary of $102,757 plus superannuation for this position. We believe in recognising and rewarding the valuable contributions of our team members.
