NQ Towing and Transport is a family-owned business operating throughout North Queensland. We provide a Towing & Transport truck service to our clients throughout the region.
We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our branch in Cairns.
- Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs when required
- Conduct inspections and promptly rectify identified defects
- Ensure vehicles remain safe, reliable and roadworthy vehicles in line with NHVR
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
- Keep the workshop clean, safe and organised
Required skills
- Diesel Mechanic, or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic qualification
- Experience maintaining heavy vehicles
- Solid preventative maintenance and fault-finding skills
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Reliable, safety-focused and comfortable working within a stable team
