HD Mechanic - Perth Based

Great team setting Genus Group is seeking an experienced EWP & Crane Mechanic to join our Fleet team based in Kenwick, WA.

- Monday to Friday

- Kenwick-based workshop role (home every night)

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Safely operate mobile cranes and EWPs (boom lifts, scissor lifts) in line with site rules.
n
- Perform pre-start checks, routine maintenance, and fault reporting on equipment.
n
- Set up machinery safely,



including outrigger deployment and ground load assessments.
n
- Work closely with riggers, dogmen, and ground crews using standard hand and radio signals.
n
- Complete daily job sheets, hazard assessments, and logbooks.
n
- Comply with high-risk work regulations and working-at-heights safety guidelines.
n

Skills & Qualifications

n

n
- Valid High Risk Work Licence (CN for Crane, WP for EWP).
n
- Current HR or MR Drivers Licence
n
- Proven experience operating truck-mounted EWPs or mobile cranes.
n
- White Card (General Construction Induction).
n
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety (WHS).
n
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
