Join our team as a Senior Distribution Engineer / Designer and play a key role in delivering exciting, complex projects for some of the leading clients in the electrical utilities sector across Victoria. About the role

n

In this role, you will:

n

Lead and deliver design solutions across overhead, underground and/or distribution substation projects

n

Attend project sites and provide technical support where required

n

Consider constructability, maintainability and Safety in Design throughout the design process

n

Apply relevant industry standards, utility requirements and engineering principles

n

Take the lead on projects of varying complexity, ensuring designs are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard

n

Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, project managers, clients and other stakeholders

n

Identify practical and innovative solutions that improve project outcomes and team efficiency

n

Support distribution design projects for Victorian electricity networks including CitiPower / Powercor, United Energy, AusNet and Jemena

n

What you need to have:

n

Proven experience and understanding in electrical distribution design

n

The ability to consider safety, constructability and other existing assets when developing designs

n

A practical, solutions-focused approach

n

Knowledge and application of Safety in Design

n





Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent qualification

n

Experience with AutoCAD

n

Experience with NEARA would be advantageous, but is not essential

n
