Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support the design, delivery, and operation of enterprise network infrastructure within a large, complex utility environment.

Working as part of a high-performing infrastructure team, you will play a key role in delivering network upgrades, supporting critical operational systems, and driving network performance, security, and reliability across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Design, configure, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and firewall environments
n
- Manage Cisco switching, routing, VPN, and network security technologies
n
- Support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement projects
n
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues
n
- Work closely with infrastructure teams, vendors, and project stakeholders to deliver enterprise network solutions
n
- Maintain network documentation,



standards, and operational procedures
n
- Provide technical support and act as an escalation point for complex network incidents
n

Key Requirements

n

n
- 5+ years' experience as a Network Engineer within large enterprise environments
n
- Robust hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including routing and switching
n
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise network projects
n
- Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, network security, and intrusion detection/prevention technologies
n
- Experience supporting highly available enterprise network environments
n
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP highly regarded
n
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills
