Aligned Horizons is seeking a Disability Support Worker to make a difference to our adult participants' lives!

(Please note that Australian working rights and mental health support experience are essential.)

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker,



you'll deliver high-quality support to adult NDIS participants with psychosocial disabilities across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

- community access incl. shopping and general hobbies
- documenting participant progress through detailed note-taking
- meal preparation and daily living assistance
- providing emotional support and companionship
- supporting and developing independent living skills
- assisting participants towards their NDIS goals.

Essentials we're looking for

- Full Australian working rights
- Min. 2 years adult mental health support experience
- Extensive experience with Schizophrenia and ABI
- Current First Aid & CPR certifications

- Current Australian driver’s license
- Proficient English & Greek verbal/written communication skills
- Availability for min. 32 hours per week
- Solid understanding of the NDIS & Behavioural Support.
