Support Worker – Disability Support (Ivanhoe, VIC) | Compassionate Care Network

About Us

Compassionate Care Network (CCN) is an NDIS-registered aged care and disability support provider operating across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. We're looking for a warm, reliable Support Worker to join our team and provide one-on-one support to a young man in the Ivanhoe area.

The Role

- Location: Ivanhoe, VIC 3079
- Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 2:30pm – 5:00pm
- Start date: Early October 2026
- Employment type: Casual

About the Participant You'll be supporting a young man who is verbal, English-speaking, and lives at home with family. He is independently mobile and enjoys engaging with his community. He has a Behaviour Support Plan in place, which you will be trained on and expected to follow.

What You'll Be Doing

- Supporting community participation and social engagement activities
- Assisting with daily living and self-care routines (e.g. grooming and dressing) under guidance
- Supporting the participant to build communication and social skills
- Implementing strategies from the participant's Behaviour Support Plan to support emotional regulation
- Providing supervision and encouraging independence in everyday tasks

About You





- Ideally aged late 20s to early 30s (to support a good match with the participant)
- No gender preference
- Experience supporting people with disability, ideally with behaviour support needs
- Patient, encouraging, and comfortable supporting community-based activities
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle preferred
