Dispensary Technician – Part-Time / Full-Time

Join our friendly, growing independent community pharmacy in Mosman Park. Village Pharmacy Mosman Park is looking for an experienced Dispensary Technician / Pharmacy Assistant to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis.

We are looking for someone who is experienced in pharmacy, exceptionally organised and meticulous in their work, but just as importantly, someone who is friendly, approachable and enjoys interacting with customers.

About the role

Working closely with our pharmacists and pharmacy team, you will play an important role in the smooth running of our dispensary and the day-to-day care of our customers.

Your responsibilities will include

- Assisting pharmacists with the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions
- Preparing and processing prescriptions with a high level of accuracy
- Assisting with Dose Administration Aids / Webster packing
- Maintaining patient profiles and dispensary records
- Stock management, ordering, receiving and maintaining dispensary stock
- Maintaining an organised, clean and efficient dispensary
- Assisting customers and providing friendly, professional service
- Working collaboratively with the wider pharmacy team to maintain an efficient workflow
- Following pharmacy procedures and maintaining a high standard of accuracy and compliance
- Learning and developing your pharmacy knowledge and skills

About you

The successful applicant will:





- Have previous experience working in a community pharmacy – essential
- Have excellent attention to detail and take genuine pride in getting things right
- Be meticulous, organised and reliable
- Be friendly, approachable and confident when dealing with customers
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy working as part of a close-knit team
- Be willing to learn, take direction and develop new skills
- Have a positive attitude and be willing to contribute to the team
- Be able to work efficiently in a busy dispensary while maintaining accuracy
- Take initiative and be someone the team can rely on

Experience with Z Software is advantageous, but not essential. We use Z Software in our pharmacy and are very happy to train the right person. We are much more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn than someone who already knows every aspect of our software.

Monday to Friday – No weekends, no CPOP

We offer Monday to Friday hours, with shifts scheduled somewhere between 8:30am and 6:00pm. No weekend work and no CPOP.
