We are seeking a permanent full time Driver Trainer to assist with onboarding new starters and support the ongoing training and development of our teams across the business.

This role is specifically designed to support the:

- Onboarding training for recent employees
- Operator assessments for current employees including VOC's and post incident training
- Working closely with all divisions to maintain a rigour in process and up to date training compliance
- Working with buddy mentors across the business to support training processes
- On and off-site load restraint auditing, ensuring load restraints meets customer requirements
- Conduct periodic operator assessments for existing drivers / operators
- Load Restraint training as per guidelines (practice and theory)
- Attending toolbox talks to help facilitate group training, work instructions and safety alerts
- Assist in incident / accident investigations where required
- Assisting compliance with reviewing Work Instructions, SWMS and Procedures, WHS Audits and Risk Assessments
- Actively undertaken and encourage regular Safe Act Observations within the daily operational tasks.

To secure the role you will be able to demonstrate:
- Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driving Training - Heavy Vehicle (TLI41222)

- MC Licence
- HRW Licence - LF / CV / WP
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), is preferred but not essential
- Conscious leadership in safe work practices
- Confidence, good personal presentation and an ability to get along with others
- High level of verbal & written communication skills
- Computer literacy with demonstrated knowledge in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- No fear of technology, especially the usage of hand held devices
