DUTY MANAGER

We’re looking for an energetic, switched-on Duty Manager to join our team at a high-energy outdoor karting and entertainment venue.

This isn’t your typical management job.

You’ll be right in the middle of the action — engines running, karts racing, customers chasing their fastest lap, and a team that needs a strong leader to keep everything on track.

THE ROLE

As Duty Manager, you’ll be one of the key people running the venue during your shift.

You’ll lead the team, keep the races flowing, look after our customers, and make sure the venue is operating safely and at its best.

No two shifts are the same. One minute you could be getting a race session underway, the next you’re helping a team member, dealing with a customer, or making sure everything is ready for the next big race.

You’ll be the person keeping the whole operation moving.

What you’ll be doing:

- Taking charge of the venue during your allocated shifts
- Leading, inspiring, and supporting the team
- Overseeing race sessions and keeping the action running smoothly
- Delivering an awesome customer experience from arrival to chequered flag
- Keeping safety and operational standards at the highest level
- Handling customer questions, feedback, and issues
- Supporting the team through busy race days and peak periods
- Monitoring track and venue operations
- Coaching and developing team members
- Ensuring the venue is clean, presentable, safe, and ready for racing
- Managing opening and closing procedures
- Jumping in wherever needed to keep the day running smoothly




- Working closely with senior management to improve the overall venue experience

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR First and foremost — you need to be a leader.

You’ll have

- Minimum 5 years of proven managerial experience
- A genuine passion for karting, motorsport, racing, or high-energy entertainment
- Confidence leading a team and taking charge
- Strong communication and people skills
- A hands-on attitude — you’re not afraid to get involved
- The ability to think quickly and stay calm when things get busy
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- A high level of energy and enthusiasm
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends
- Availability during peak periods and busy race days

Karting, motorsport, hospitality, entertainment, leisure, events, or outdoor recreation experience is highly regarded. THIS IS FOR SOMEONE WHO...
