Early Intervention Behaviour Therapist

Jellybean House is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and compassionate Early Intervention Behaviour Therapist to join our growing team in Tamworth, NSW.
This is a full-time opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and families and wants to build a rewarding career in the early intervention sector.
About the Role
Jellybean House provides Early Intervention Behaviour Therapy, supporting children through engaging, individualised and play-based sessions. Our supports focus on developing skills in:
- Emotional recognition and regulation
- Behavioural strategies
- Cognitive and executive functioning skills
- Social skills and self-awareness
- Educational development
- Physical development
You will work directly with children and their families, helping each child develop practical skills, confidence and greater independence.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of the Jellybean House team, you will:
- Provide weekly face-to-face support sessions with children using fun, engaging and play-based therapeutic activities.
- Plan and implement individualised term programs that support each child’s developmental needs and goals.
- Build positive and supportive relationships with children and their families.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, providing updates on progress and addressing concerns.
- Complete required client documentation and administrative tasks in accordance with relevant NDIS requirements and standards.
- Prepare and submit end-of-term progress reports and client updates.
- Assist with occasional NDIS reports and supporting documentation.
- Work collaboratively with the Jellybean House team to provide consistent, high-quality support.
Previous NDIS experience is preferred but not essential.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Bachelor Degree in one of the following areas:
- Social Work
- Psychology
- Early Childhood Education
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Pathology
- Special Education
- Another relevant Bachelor Degree
A valid Working with Children Check must be obtained before commencing employment.
