Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten – Unity Park, Tarneit is looking for an experienced Educational Leader to join our team on a full-time maternity leave cover contract from October 2026 to May 2027.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and supportive educational leader who enjoys working across all age groups, mentoring educators and Room Leaders, and helping teams deliver high-quality programs and learning experiences.
You’ll work closely with the Centre Leadership Team and educators across the service to strengthen curriculum practice, support consistent implementation of Aspire procedures, and contribute to positive outcomes for children.

As Educational Leader, you’ll have the opportunity to work across all rooms and age groups, supporting educators to deliver consistent, engaging and meaningful learning experiences.
With a solid focus on quality practice and collaboration, you’ll play an important role in guiding the team and ensuring Aspire's educational approach is embedded throughout the service.
About the Role
As Educational Leader,
you will provide guidance and support to Room Leaders and educators across the service, helping them confidently implement their programs and plans in line with Aspire procedures and expectations.
You will
- Lead and support educational practice across all rooms and age groups
- Guide and mentor Room Leaders and educators in curriculum planning and implementation
- Support the team to develop and deliver high-quality programs and plans
- Provide guidance around the EYLF, routines, transitions and school readiness
- Support educators to reflect on and strengthen their practice
- Promote consistency in educational practice across the service
- Work collaboratively with educators to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Embed Aspire’s Grow, Learn & Connect philosophy throughout the service
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and educators
- Support educators to confidently meet the requirements of the National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Work closely with the Centre Manager and Centre Leadership Team to support quality outcomes
- Be flexible and comfortable working across all age groups and rooms
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative and supportive team culture
About You You are a confident, approachable and supportive leader who enjoys developing others and working collaboratively across a service.
You bring
- ACECQA-approved Diploma or higher qualification
- Previous experience in an Educational Leader or similar leadership role
- Robust understanding of the EYLF, educational programs and planning
- Understanding of school readiness programs, routines and transitions
- Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
- The ability to guide Room Leaders and educators while building their confidence and capability
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Flexibility and confidence working across all age groups
- A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and quality practice
- Valid Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
