About the role

Ajz Projects Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrical Tradesperson to join our team on a full-time basis in North Sydney, NSW 2060. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical work across a range of projects, from residential to commercial installations. As an essential member of our trades team, you will contribute directly to the successful completion of our projects whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.

What you'll be doing

- Installing, testing and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in accordance with relevant building codes and safety standards
- Reading and interpreting electrical plans, blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate installation
- Performing diagnostic testing on electrical systems to identify faults and implement repairs
- Running conduit, cable and wiring through walls, ceilings and floors
- Installing switchboards, circuit breakers, outlets and lighting fixtures
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and complies with Australian electrical standards and regulations
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and site supervisors to coordinate work schedules
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
- Keeping accurate records of work completed and materials used

What we're looking for

- Current Australian electrical licence or equivalent qualification (e.g., Level 1, 2 or 3 Electrician)
- Proven experience working as an electrician in residential and/or commercial environments
- Strong knowledge of Australian electrical safety standards and building regulations (AS/NZS 3000, NEC)
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail




- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to workplace safety and positive health and safety practices
- Preferably, experience with both new installations and maintenance work
