About the Client Our client is a well-established civil construction and engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure and urban development projects. Their capabilities include bulk earthworks, road and transport infrastructure, drainage, water and utilities, rail, aviation and large-scale residential and industrial developments.
Hours:
Monday to Friday | 6:30am starts 8 to 10 hour days
What You Will Be Doing In this role you will be spotting machinery around live traffic, under powerlines and doing labouring dutes. Your main duties on site are as followed:
- Spotting plant machinery under powerlines and on the road around live traffic
- Conducting manual handling around the job site including site clean up and preparation
- Filling up sandbags and moving around temporary fencing
- Using both hand and power tools
- Assisting other labourers and operators when required
What You Will Need
- Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- Construction white card
- Have a electrical spotters ticket
- Previous labouring and spotting experience
- Be happy to continuously work as a spotter
