- Day shift: 2 weeks of mornings 6am to 2pm / 2 weeks of afternoons 2pm to 10pm

The Role The Resident (Electrical) Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing planned, unplanned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance, as well as inspections of automation equipment. This role ensures the seamless operation of the site and enhances customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform daily system audits.

- Conduct mechanical and electrical breakdown maintenance.

- Inspect and replace hard-wired gear motors and power supplies.

- Undertake mechanical and electrical repairs and component replacements.

- Generate reports for both internal and external stakeholders within agreed timelines.

- Compile monthly management reports for internal and external distribution.

- Engage in continuous improvement activities to optimize systems, collaborating closely with team members and other departments.

- Complete breakdown reports, shift logs, and issue logs in accordance with internal protocols.





- Ensure the site workshop is well-maintained, presentable, and clean.

- Adhere to Australian, as well as internal and external OH&S; regulations.

- Comply with company policies and procedures.

- Participate in local, interstate, and overseas training and development opportunities.

- Perform other tasks and responsibilities.

Skills, Experience, Qualifications:

- Must hold Australian Electrical Licence

- Previous experience maintaining on site equipment either within engineering, automation or manufacturing would be highly desirable.

- Experience with component removal and refit.

- Experience with belts, conveyors, motors and gearboxes would be highly beneficial

- Hold valid driver’s license

- Desirable: Familiarity with programmable logic controls (PLCs), experience with automated equipment.

- Pre employment medical, D&A; and police check to be completed for employment

- Salaried position: $100,000 - $110,000 p/a + Super + shift loadings

- 15% Shift loading when working afternoon shift

- 30% Shift loading for permanent night shift

- Training and Development provided from Day 1 on company automation equipment.
