Two positions, one business. One is local, home every night, running work across the Perth metro. The other is FIFO, out on WA projects. Same crew, same gear, same rates - you pick the setup that suits where you're at.

Who you'd be working for A locally owned and operated WA electrical contractor, ten years in, running out of Cockburn Central.

Twelve people. That's the whole business. Which means the director knows your name, knows what you're good at, and knows when you've had a hard week and it means the work you do is visible rather than disappearing into a subcontractor spreadsheet.

They work across residential, commercial and civil, and they do both electrical and security. Their line on it is "quality without compromise", and the reason they've been chasing the right person for months rather than filling the seat is that they actually mean it.

What sets them apart

They've got the volume, without the churn. Long-standing contracts with national fast-food and retail brands, ongoing work with large builders, and a project pipeline that runs from Perth down to Mandurah. Enough to sit on one project for months when it suits, or move around when it doesn't.

Real variety. Commercial fit-outs, shop fronts, civil works, sports pavilions, footy field and park lighting, head-end systems, test and tag, a handful of new builds a year and some renovation work. Not the same install five days a week.

No micromanagement. You get handed a job and trusted to run it — materials, timelines, site requirements, the lot.

Based out of Cockburn Central, working across the metro and south to Mandurah. Normal hours, home every night, afternoons back. Away work across WA comes up from time to time — taking it is entirely optional, never forced.

FIFO — WA Projects

A-Grade Electricians - FIFO Perth | $70–$74 Per Hour Super | Take-home van

Project-based work across Western Australia for sparkies who want the swing lifestyle and the earning that comes with it.

About you

Both roles involve leading small to medium jobs end to end and mentoring apprentices, so this is a step up for someone who's ready to run their own show.

You'll need:

- At least 2 years post-trade experience across commercial and residential
- Current unrestricted WA A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Australian electrical experience
- Manual C-Class driver's licence
- Construction White Card
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
- Your own hand drill and hammer drill — everything else is supplied
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen

Well regarded:

- WA Security Installer / Consultant Licence
- First Aid, CPR and LV Rescue
- Working at Heights and EWP / Yellow Card
