Global Communication Services (GCS) is seeking enthusiastic candidates for an Electronics & Communications Technician Apprenticeship in Kalgoorlie. This is a highly sought-after and progressive trade in the mining industry, offering excellent career prospects.
This is a residential role – only candidates living in the Kalgoorlie region will be considered.

The Role
As an Apprentice Electronics & Communications Technician, you will complete a Certificate III in Electronics and Communications while gaining hands-on experience in:
- Underground leaky feeder radio systems
- Wide area radio networks
- Fibre optic and data networks
- Wi-Fi systems
- Remote control and monitoring systems
- Microwave systems
- General electronic repairs
Work will be undertaken across both workshop and field environments.
What We’re Looking For
- Current WA Driver’s Licence
- Strong interest in RF, Electronics, ICT, and Networking
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and self-motivation
- Ability to learn current concepts quickly
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy
- Willingness to travel within WA and interstate
- Commitment to safety
