Job Title: Electronics Engineer

Location: Perth, WA

Salary: $100,000 - $175,000 super, depending on experience and skills.

Work Set-up: Full-time | Permanent | On-site

About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join a high-performing Engineering team and support the development of new electronics, power supply and engine control products.

You will be involved across the full product development lifecycle, from electronics design and simulation through to schematic capture, PCB layout, testing, verification and release.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and working on innovative products within the aerospace and advanced technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, verify and release electronic components and sub-systems.
- Perform analogue and digital circuit design, including mathematical analysis and simulation.
- Develop schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer or similar tools.
- Support the design and development of power supply and engine control electronics.
- Plan and perform design verification and validation activities.
- Define test requirements, conduct testing and troubleshooting, and analyse results.
- Prepare technical documentation, test reports and engineering records.




- Support component selection and procurement by working with suppliers and reviewing technical data.
- Ensure designs meet relevant engineering standards, product requirements and regulatory obligations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

- Degree qualification in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- Ideally 3 years of industry experience in electronics or hardware engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in analogue and digital circuit design.
- Strong experience with PCB design, schematic capture, hardware troubleshooting and testing.
- Experience using PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Fusion 360, Eagle or similar.
- Understanding of embedded microprocessor systems such as STM32, ESP32, PIC or Arduino.
- Knowledge of EMC/EMI principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to complex technical challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
