Your New Role

As Engineering Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team across mechanical, propulsion, electrical, controls and systems engineering disciplines. You'll be responsible for driving engineering excellence, technical governance, product development, and the successful transition of advanced technologies into production-ready products. Working closely with executive leadership, production, quality and supply chain teams, you'll ensure engineering programs are delivered safely,



efficiently and to the highest technical standards.

Key responsibilities include

- Leading, mentoring and growing a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Driving systems engineering practices across complex propulsion programs.
- Managing the development of advanced aerospace and defence propulsion products from concept through testing and production.
- Leading technical reviews, verification and validation activities, and engineering governance processes.
- Establishing robust engineering processes, standards and quality frameworks.
- Managing engineering resources, budgets, schedules and program delivery outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with manufacturing teams to industrialise new products.
- Supporting customer, supplier, partner and stakeholder engagements with credible technical leadership.
- Identifying technical risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.

What You'll Need to Succeed

- Degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong mechanical or aerospace engineering capability with hands-on technical leadership experience.
- NPI: Experience developing complex products from concept through prototype, test and production.
- Demonstrated systems engineering expertise including requirements management, integration, verification and configuration management.
- Exposure to propulsion systems, gas turbines, rotating machinery, aerospace, defence or highly complex mechatronic products.
- Experience operating within regulated engineering environments and quality management systems such as AS9100.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
