About the Role

n

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Mechanical Drill Fitter to join our dynamic and successful team. As a valued member of the Field Maintenance team and reporting directly to the Field Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.

- Providing mechanical maintenance and services
n
- Trouble shooting and the ability to located and solve unplanned breakdowns with attention to detail and in a timely manner.
n
- Performing preventative maintenance.
n
- Ensure all work is performed to trade standards, following the plan and specifications, and meets desired availability targets
n
- Maintaining our onsite maintenance systems and ensure the integrity of recorded data is compliant
n
- Liaise with key personnel and share ideas for overall improvement outcomes
n
- Identify, assess and control workplace hazards
n

n

About you

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- 3+ Years post trade experience in a mining environment
n
- Have previous experience working on 600t Class Excavators and Mining Drills
n
- Able to work both autonomously and as a part of a team
n
- Previous experience in a similar role, in an open-cut coal mine
n
- Excellent safety mindset with the ability to positively influence the culture at Rolleston
n
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment
n
- Experience with SAP
n




- Be proficient with SIS and able to read Hydraulic Schematics
n
