Laserdyne Technologies designs and manufactures state-of-the-art land, sea, and air-borne electro-optical systems for defence customers worldwide. For over 30 years, we have delivered mission-critical hardware that operates in extreme environments where failure is not an option.

Our work spans electro-optics, lasers, thin-film optics, electronics, and mechanical systems. We are not a mass-production factory. We are a high-value, high-complexity manufacturing environment where craftsmanship, precision, and engineering judgement matter.

The role:

Due to growth we currently have vacancies for entry-level production workers.

What you’ll do:

· Use of hand tools and small power tools

· Cleaning and preparation of surfaces

· Application of adhesives

· Undertake chemical conversion processes

· Soldering of electronic systems

· Testing electronic components and systems

· Assemble mechanical, electronic and optical hardware

· Perform functional tests and inspections

· Maintain accurate records of processes and quality checks

· Follow area procedures, technical drawings and work instructions





· Labelling and packaging of finished product

What we need from you:

· Attention to detail

· Hand-eye coordination

· Possess fine motor skills

· Experience in high detail work (jewellery making, microscope, watch making, micro arts/craft) is highly regarded but not essential
