As our Environment &
- Sustainability Leader - APAC , you'll play a pivotal role in driving environmental excellence across 48 locations in eight countries , helping Cummins deliver on its ambitious sustainability commitments and Destination Zero strategy.
This is a unique opportunity to influence regional strategy, partner with senior leaders, and lead meaningful initiatives that reduce environmental impact. You'll have the opportunity to make a tangible difference through projects focused on our Destination Zero commitment In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead the delivery of Cummins'
- APAC environmental and sustainability strategy, aligning regional priorities with our global sustainability vision.
- Partner with leaders across the business to strengthen environmental accountability and embed sustainable practices into day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to enhance environmental programs, governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.
- Identify emerging environmental, sustainability, and climate-related risks, translating them into practical business solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on environmental compliance, sustainability requirements, and environmental management systems.
- Support sites across the region to meet legislative obligations and continuously improve environmental performance.
- Drive initiatives that reduce environmental risk and improve operational sustainability outcomes.
- Lead and support impactful projects across energy efficiency, renewable energy, waste reduction, pollution prevention, and water conservation.
- Influence positive environmental outcomes across a diverse portfolio of operations throughout the Asia Pacific region.
About You You are an experienced environmental and sustainability professional who can influence stakeholders, drive strategic initiatives, and deliver practical outcomes across a complex, multi-site organisation.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- A degree in Environmental Management, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years' experience in environmental, sustainability, ESG, or HSE leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, compliance requirements, and environmental management systems.
- Experience working with ISO standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated success delivering sustainability, environmental compliance, and risk reduction programs across multiple sites.
- The ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, from site teams through to senior leadership.
- Experience developing business cases, managing budgets, and delivering environmental or sustainability projects.
- Professional environmental qualifications or certifications will be highly regarded.
- 25% Travel and availability to be on-site as required.
The Environment &
- Sustainability Leader role provides the regional expertise, governance, and leadership necessary to achieve APAC's environmental and sustainability objectives.
The role provides subject matter expertise to support emerging sustainability, climate-related disclosure obligations and ESG reporting requirements across the Asia Pacific region.
The role enables regulatory compliance, supports achievement of corporate sustainability commitments, drives environmental risk reduction, and facilitates the successful implementation of regional and global initiatives across 48 locations in eight countries.
