Austmine, the leading industry association for the Australian Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) sector, is seeking a highly organised and proactive Event Coordinator to join our team.
About the role
This is an opportunity to be part of a team delivering some of the mining industry's most respected events, connecting leaders from mining companies, METS businesses, government and industry.
Working closely with the Events Managers, you will help coordinate a national portfolio of events and webinars. From managing registrations through to coordinating venues, suppliers and onsite delivery, you will play a key role in creating professional and engaging experiences for our members and stakeholders.
No two days are the same. One day you may be setting up a webinar with industry leaders, the next coordinating a networking event, managing attendee communications or supporting event delivery onsite. Event Coordination & Delivery
- Coordinate registrations, attendee communications and event administration across Austmine's events and webinars.
- Assist with event planning, timelines, run sheets and delivery schedules.
- Support onsite event delivery and attendee management.
Speaker & Sponsor Coordination
- Coordinate speaker and sponsor requirements, briefing materials and event logistics.
- Liaise with presenters to collect biographies, presentations and supporting information.
- Support the delivery of sponsorship advantages and stakeholder communications.
Webinar Delivery
- Set up and manage webinar registration pages and virtual event platforms.
- Coordinate presenter briefings and webinar logistics.
- Support live webinar delivery,
including presentations, Q&A; sessions and technical troubleshooting.
Event Logistics & Administration
- Coordinate venues, catering, audiovisual suppliers and event materials.
- Maintain accurate event records, registrations and reporting through CRM systems.
- Support post-event reporting, surveys and feedback collection.
About you To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A qualification in Events Management, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline
- At least two years' experience in event coordination or event administration
- Experience coordinating webinars and virtual events desirable
- Strong organisational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A customer-focused approach and robust stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Australian working rights is required
