Are you an event professional who enjoys the detail of delivery, but also loves to produce creative concepts, audience engagement and brand-led experiences?

MCI Australia is looking for a Project Manager to join our Sydney-based Creative Services team. This role is suited to someone with agency-side event experience who can take a creative brief, shape it into a practical delivery plan and work with clients, internal teams and production partners to make it happen.

You may be a strong Project Coordinator ready to step up, or an established Project Manager looking for more exposure to creative, experiential and audience-focused work. Either way, you’ll understand the pace of agency life, the importance of detail and the satisfaction of seeing a well-planned idea land beautifully in a live setting.

About the role

As Project Manager, you’ll help deliver creative corporate events, leadership conferences, employee experiences, brand activations, incentive programs and strategic client projects. You’ll be involved from the early stages of a brief through to planning, production, onsite delivery and post-event review.

This is a hands-on delivery role with genuine exposure to creative development and client-facing project leadership. You’ll work closely with strategists, creatives, content specialists, producers, suppliers and clients to turn concepts into well-executed experiences that connect with audiences.

What you’ll be doing

- Managing project delivery from brief to completion
- Building project plans, budgets, schedules and run sheets
- Help to build and translate creative concepts into realistic timelines, workflows and delivery requirements
- Coordinating internal teams, suppliers, venues and production partners
- Supporting client communication,



approvals and stakeholder updates
- Ensuring every project is created to provide a memorable experience, delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard

About you You’ll be most suited to this role if you have delivered events in an agency environment and enjoy working at the intersection of ideas, planning and execution. This is not a Producer role but ideal for somebody with career aspirations and who understands how creative event concepts become practical, polished and commercially sound moments for clients and audiences. You will be a creative, solution orientated professional who is comfortable working in build, logistics and stage craft production.

You'll bring

- Approximately 3 years’ experience delivering events, ideally within an agency
- Exposure to creative events, brand experiences, employee engagement, activations or experiential projects
- Strong organisation, planning and attention to detail
- Confidence managing budgets, schedules, suppliers and competing priorities
- A calm, practical and solutions-focused approach under pressure
- Strong client and stakeholder communication skills
- Curiosity, initiative and a genuine interest in audience experience
