Join Atom Resources as an Excavator Operator on a major 12 month civil project in Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading civil contractor with a very robust pipeline of work.

What's in it for you?

- 50+ hours per week
- Above award pay rates, $45-$50 per hour
- $22 travel allowance per day and $20 meal allowance for shifts over 9.5 hours

Duties

- Operating excavators up to 5-40 tonne
- Operating other plant where ticketed
- Daily pre start checks and following safety procedures
- Digging for retaining walls, footpaths, roads, footings, pads and trenches
- Bulk work loading trucks and managing stockpiles
- Final trim and general site clean up

Skills,



experience and requirements

- Proven civil experience 3+ years
- Able to carry out final trim, detailed and bulk work
- Current SOA and VOC
- Able to pass a pre employment medical and a drugs test
- Strong safety focus and attention to detail
