We are seeking an experienced Exchange Engineer to join a high-performing infrastructure team, supporting the design, integration, and ongoing operation of critical messaging and infrastructure applications. Working closely with the Manager, you will assess solution architecture, ensure security and compliance requirements are met, and provide technical expertise across a diverse Microsoft-centric environment.

This role does require an active AGSVA NV2 clearance at a minimum. This role is an onsite role based 100% in Canberra. Consultants that do not meet these minimum requirements cannot be considered.

Responsibilities

- Provide technical expertise and support for Microsoft Exchange, ensuring the stability, performance, and security of messaging services.
- Assess and review solution architectures, application integrations, and infrastructure designs to ensure alignment with operational and security requirements.
- Support the management and maintenance of core infrastructure applications including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, and PKI.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver application upgrades, migrations, enhancements, and system integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents across messaging, authentication, and infrastructure application platforms.
- Contribute to technical documentation, operational procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives across the infrastructure applications environment.

Requirements

- Proven experience administering and supporting Microsoft Exchange within large or complex enterprise environments.




- Robust knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure technologies including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, and PKI.
- Experience assessing technical architectures and supporting the integration of applications within secure enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office, SQL Server, Veeam, SFTP, and file-sharing technologies.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills across messaging, authentication, and infrastructure application platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across engineering, operations, and project teams.
