The Role

As a Pipe Layer, you will form an integral part of our Civil team. Your role will include, but is not limited to:

- Manual and machine-based trenching and backfilling
- Spotting vehicles
- Installing pipe work- including Water, Wastewater and Communications pipes
- Pre starting machinery
- Using various hand and power tools

Operators are responsible for the safe operation of 5-35T Excavators including:
- Deep excavations
- Installing of shoring
- Trenching and final trim
- installing or relocating various services

And any other work involved in installing, upgrading, and repairing various pipelines. We proudly work on projects ranging from Council to Tier 1 level which may require weekend shift, night shift or away works depending on project requirements.

Requirements To be successful in this role, you will require:

- Current Driver’s License
- White Card
- Machinery tickets are highly desirable but not essential
- Some basic labouring experience is highly desirable
- Availability and willingness to work day shift, night shift, overtime and weekend work as required
- Excavator Operators are required to hold a valid LE ticket

Successful applicants are subject to pre-employment testing, including a pre-employment medical.
