Seeking Several Experienced, Ongoing Casual -> Permanent Brickpavers!

About the Client

Our client for this role is a brickpaver and hardscaper that specialises in brickpaving (90%), hardscaping, rockpitching and limestone blockwork. They do a lot of work on commercial and civil sites including schools, footpaths and various government projects. Jobs range all across the Perth metro area and each job is different!

The client is looking for a several permanent brickpavers to join their team after trialling you out on a casual basis with us, and is prepared to invest in you when they do it. There's a genuine opportunity to earn pay increases through this role as you settle in and prove yourself, and a company car can be provided down the line once you're permanent as well.

Australian or Recent Zealand citizens or other full, permanent working right holders in Australia are highly preferred for this role, but Working Holidaymakers from the UK (no regional work requirement) are welcome as well as long as you're genuinely seeking a long-term position.

About You The client's ideal candidate would be:

- An experienced brickpaver! Two years' experience would be great, with more most welcome.
- An energetic gun with a great attitude who's very fit, consistent and enthusiastic and still loves getting down and laying paving. Someone who's proud of doing excellent work that doesn't need a redo or a touchup.
- Extremely reliable! There's a lot of traveling to different sites, with consistent 8hrs per day or more of work, and the client is looking for someone he can trust and depend on.



Consistent attendance will make a great impression and is a large part of what they're looking for as part of their pay reviews.

About The Role

Responsibilities include

- Brickpaving and all the work that goes into it, with a focus on new commercial and civil work (with some repair work)
- Various related responsibilities on-site as required.

Pay Rates

- Ordinary Hours: $45 to $47 dollars per hour +super initially, with a genuine opportunity to earn more once you've settled in and proven yourself!
- Travel Allowance: We also pay a travel allowance of $22.41 per day.
- Penalties: We also pay penalties for Time and a Half and Double Time as appropriate during the week, plus during any weekend work that could be required.

Essential Requirements To be considered, you must have:

- Proven brickpaving experience with high attention to detail
- A genuine desire and interest to work permanently with this client in the future
- Your driver's license, and you'll definitely want your own transport

- Excellent attendance
