Senior Medical Receptionist – Redlands

Ready for more than just another reception job?

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Medical Receptionist to join the team at Altura in the Redlands. And no, you don’t need dental experience!

If you come from medical, specialist, allied health or another busy healthcare environment and know how to manage patients, appointment books and a quick-moving front office, we can teach you the dental side.

What we can’t teach is initiative, leadership and the drive to grow.

The Role

This isn’t a sit-at-reception-and-watch-the-clock kind of role. We want someone who loves being involved, takes ownership and enjoys being the person the team can rely on.

Most importantly, we’re passionate about creating WOW experiences for our patients. We want someone who genuinely loves people, notices the little things and is always looking for ways to make a patient’s experience better than they expected.

You’ll be

- Managing and optimising busy appointment books
- Keeping patient recalls and follow-ups on track
- Creating memorable WOW moments throughout the patient journey
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the front office
- Helping lead, support and train the team
- Spotting problems and finding solutions
- Helping improve systems and the way we do things
- Working closely with Management and taking on more responsibility as you grow

Who Are We Looking For?

You’ll ideally have senior reception, supervisory or management experience and be someone who is:

- Organised and seriously on top of things




- Confident, warm and genuinely great with people
- Someone who loves going above and beyond for patients
- Comfortable leading and supporting a team
- Proactive, you don’t wait to be told what needs doing
- Experienced with bookings, recalls and patient follow-up
- Excited to learn, develop and take on more responsibility
- Looking for a career, not just somewhere to clock in and clock out
