The Collective Initiative (TCI) is a fast-growing organisation working in partnership with Dream Maker Community Services (DMCS), a well-known and nationally recognised NDIS service provider. DMCS is dedicated to empowering people with disabilities through tailored, person-centred care. Together, we are driven by a shared commitment to delivering impactful support that promotes independence, dignity, and meaningful community participation.

We are committed to keeping children and young people safe. We have transparent child-safe policies and procedures, and all staff, contractors and students must follow them at all times.

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Female Support Worker to provide personalised support to a 16-year-old transgender female in Katoomba. The Support Worker will provide personalised, respectful, and person-centred support, assisting her with daily activities, after-school routines, and participation in the community.

Availability Required

- Wednesday 2:45pm - 6pm
- Friday 2:45pm - 6pm

Key Responsibilities As part of the role, the Support Worker will provide after-school, personal, and daily living support, including:

- Supporting the individual after school with daily activities and routines.
- Providing safe transport to and from community activities and appointments.
- Supporting the individual to attend Behavioural Therapy sessions.
- Supporting the individual to attend Street University.
- Transporting the individual to appointments or community activities when required.
- Providing patient, compassionate, and respectful support with a positive and encouraging approach.

- WWCC
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability, patience, and a caring nature
- Australian working rights
- Must have a NSW Driver Licence
- Reliable
