Job Description

n
- Lead complex injury management and workers compensation cases through to successful recovery outcomes
n
- Partner with leaders, employees and medical providers to develop effective recovery at work plans
n
- Provide trusted advice on injury management, workers compensation and fitness for work matters
n
- Monitor claims performance, identify trends and deliver insights that improve outcomes and reduce costs
n
- Coach leaders and strengthen organisational capability in injury management and return to work practices
n
- Drive continuous improvement across injury management systems, procedures and governance
n
- Report to the Superintendent - Safety, Health and Training
n

Requirements

n

n
- Relevant qualifications in occupational health, rehabilitation, allied health, nursing, workers compensation, human resources or a related discipline
n
- Current SIRA NSW Return to Work Coordinator training (or recognised equivalent)
n
- Significant experience managing workplace injuries, workers compensation claims and recovery at work programs
n
- Demonstrated capability managing complex and high-risk cases independently
n
- Robust working knowledge of NSW workers compensation and associated legislative requirements
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, coaching and influencing skills
n




- A current unrestricted driver's licence
n
- Experience within mining, heavy industry, construction or another safety critical workplace will be highly regarded
n
