We have an exciting chance to join the Finance team as a Finance Business Partner for the Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering, this role will play a pivotal role in providing proactive financial support, building financial capability and deliver commercial insights to help drive informed decision making in the Supply Chain team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all manufacturing and logistics related month end reporting, quarterly forecasting, cost analysis and annual budgets for setting standard costs for raw materials, analysing cost centres, analysing manufacturing variances, stock value projections and warehouse and transport costs
- Prepare and report on month end financial results for all operations and manufacturing areas of the business, including investigating and reconciling cost of goods sold
- Provide Supply Planner with analysis of stock at risk to drive initiatives to clear with Sales & Marketing
- Prepare analysis of variances to budget/forecast for supply chain and logistics areas and investigate material differences while suggesting improvements
- Partner with the Supply Planner in the documentation and monitoring of inventory policies for finished goods, raw & packaging materials
- Work with the supply team to ensure compliance with policies pertaining to inventory by reviewing stock balances and supporting stocktakes including verification of stock adjustments
- Work closely with our Tea Supply Chain team to understand & analyse the YOY movements in our tea costs annually
- Build our local tea standard costs, taking commodity and currency movements into consideration as well as inbound freight & duty, and local overhead recovery
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Minimum of 3 years experience of Finance Business Partnering experience
- Supply chain accounting and product costing experience is essential
- CPA and Tertiary qualified in Finance/Accounting
- Experience in end-to end partnering with the ability to influence and challenge to drive key objectives while working collaboratively cross functionally
- Excellent communicator with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and investigate financial issues in complex business situations
- Advanced excel skills including V Look Up, Pivot Tables and Macros and exposure to ERP systems
