We have an exciting opportunity to join the Finance team as a Finance Business Partner for the Sales & Marketing teams. Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering, this role will play a pivotal role in providing proactive financial support, building financial capability and deliver insights for the commercial team. This role will also play a key role in executing the 0-18 month strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with the Sales, Marketing & • Revenue management teams to deliver key business drivers – identifying value adding opportunities from a finance lens

- Advise and support the commercial business on financial decision-making
- Perform a key role in understanding period results by investigating sales variances and calculating and investigating Price, Volume and Mix variances to budget/ forecast
- Review and identify variance drivers; forecast to forecast, actuals vs forecast, prior year & budget/target including insightful commentary
- Lead the Demand Review meetings in partnership with the Demand team to improve forecasting accuracy
- Improve Commercial capability of Sales and Marketing teams through periodic training
- Model opportunities and/or risks to the plan with the Commercial team, and present recommendations to bridge gaps/explore opportunities in performance at the Demand Review
- Validation of the financial plan over the 0–18-month horizon including market/category projection into financials




- Help translate the numbers into a compelling story and build commercial slide decks that articulates the drivers of business performance
- Drive the quarterly forecasting and annual budget process
- Ensure Brand & • Customer P&Ls; are robust, reviewing them with the Sales &
- Marketing teams regularly

- Monitor brand profitability with a category & consumer lens to ensure correct investment decisions are being made
- Participate and/or lead Commercial projects as required to provide financial rigor and robust assumptions
- Responsible for Month end commentary, including robust commentary as to drivers of variances including Price/Volume/Mix analysis. Ensure results are finalised within three working days of the month end:

- Preparation of journals and accruals as required
- Quality and insightful commentary
- Identification of continuous improvement opportunities in reporting and commentary

- Provide periodic reviews on SKU profitability in Portfolio Management Review meeting
- Perform Super User role within Commercial Team for ERP & • TPM systems, providing training and ad hoc support to Sales &

- Marketing Teams to extract information on Customer and/or Brand financials

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

- Minimum of 3 years experience in Finance Business Partnering
- CPA and Tertiary qualified in Finance/Accounting
- Experience in end-to end partnering with the ability to influence, challenge and coach the commercial team to drive key objectives
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build stakeholder rapport and work collaboratively cross functionally
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and investigate financial issues in complex business situations
- Extensive experience in business planning, reporting and forecasting in line with cyclical activities
- Commercially minded - Pragmatic, resilient and shows initiative in pre-empting issues and resolving challenges independently
- Advanced excel skills including V Look Up, Pivot Tables and Macros
