About the Role The firm is now looking for an experienced Legal Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function. This is a hands-on role with genuine ownership of the finance function, supported by external accountants and a part-time team member. The firm offers a professional but relaxed environment, with flexibility around how you work and an openness to finding an arrangement that works for both you and the role. Full-time or part time will be considered.

Responsibilities

- Take ownership of the finance function.
- Manage the day-to-day finance function.




- Work in a hands-on capacity supported by external accountants and a part-time team member.

Qualifications

- Legal trust accounting experience is essential.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance and accounting within a law firm.

Required Skills

- Confidence managing the day-to-day finance function.
- Broad legal finance experience across AP/AR, WIP, debtors, payroll, cash flow and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine pride in your work.
- The ability to work autonomously and take ownership.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Salary circa $100,000–$110,000 + super (FTE). Full-time and Part-time considered
